Eric Appreciation Post

I just wanted to say a heartfelt "thank you" to Eric. Thank you for your visionary ideas of what a smartwatch should be, for going through all the struggles of bringing it to life. Thank you for continuing to innovate and improve and develop an entire product line and ecosystem (and thanks to all the many many people who helped him).

Thank you for bearing the pain (alongside us) of experiencing Pebble's demise, for being honest and gracious and real in the face of everything. And thank you for (like us) keeping it in your mind and heart for all these years, for your patience until the wheels of the universe aligned for a second chance.

Thank you for being the most passionate about Pebble of us all (a tall order). Some people might not realize how easy it would have been for you to just move on. I hope you're following all the excitement in this subreddit, it's because of you.
